A beautiful and functional way to store and play the game on a tabletop. Not really sure I would travel with this as it greatly increases the size and weight of the game (it is a deck of cards and some scoring tokens), especially since the instruction sheet does not fit in the case.

Looks terriffic stained and painted

It's a little larger than I expected, but it's very rugged and well designed.

The piteous trade-off for a nice portable case like this, is that there isn't room to store the included rulebook. The case fits a sleeved deck nicely in the inner section, and it comes with pegs to keep score on the scoreboard on top.

A word of caution when assembling: be careful when gluing the pins that align the segments. Any glue that spills over to the top of the inner section can cause a bit of stickyness between it and the outer shell. In my case it didn't glue the case shut but I did clean and sand it a bit to clear the glue off the surface so the case would open smoothly. Now it works like a dream.

As said in a previous review, I do really wish the space was ever so slightly larger so it could cleanly fit the rulebook. That being said, this is a gorgeous travel case, and I strongly recommend it to all Fox in the Forest fans.
