great tool for a GREAT GAME!

SPLINTER WARNING! Harder to assemble, overpriced...but works.

I'm a rookie to Broken Token, and was reluctant to purchase one of these even though I was interested. It was hard to assemble the dice trays; the tabs frayed and tons of splinter opportunities came. You do need a rubber mallet hammer (I used a small metal one which worked fine...just be gentle) to secure the pieces. It took me about an hour to assemble the whole thing. It does make some good room space (probably for an expansion too), but to pay 3/4 of the price for the game for an organizer, which seems to be BT's M.O., seems a little outlandish to me (I paid the same price as the game to have Priority shipping). <br><br><br><br>I really like the idea of organizers, but I can't justify paying that much EVERY time I want one. I might have paid $20 for this, but would have to think about it. I did it this time to give it a shot. It does its job, it makes setup and cleanup faster, but the $30 price tag, the difficult assembly, the splinters I received, just makes this is a "meh" purchase. <br><br><br><br>Unless this flimsy wood costs and arm and a leg, I can't see how any of these prices are worth it. Thanks for trying though.<br><br><br><br>Response: We're sorry you aren't 100% pleased with the organizer. To respond to your comment about the wood being flimsy, we can assure you that it is very strong and lightweight. People sometimes mistake the weight to mean that it is not sturdy, but this is not the case. We use a high quality 3mm plywood that must be imported from outside of the country. We stand behind the quality of the product and will replace any parts if they were to break. Regarding splinters, sometimes "hairs" can separate from the edges because the wood is made of natural fibers. They shouldn't be strong enough to penetrate skin, but we still recommend that you assemble with care.

Love it!

As with all their dividers, this one is amazing as well. The one that comes with the game is very disorganized and this makes it so much nicer looking. I love the attention to detail with the sloped tray edges to easily remove dice as well as the cutouts on the top edge to fit the player boards and curtains. Highly recommended if you have Roll for the Galaxy.

Good

I'm satisfied with the product for the most part the containers for the dices were the most pain to put together and it even seemed to not fit at one point. I'm not sure if it was really fit for the expansion as well.

Almost Perfect

Before this, I had a plastic organizer to sort all the dice and I thought that worked relatively well. I got this because it made it easier to keep the expansion (and hopefully future expansions) separate from the base game depending on how I wanted to play.<br><br><br><br>I think it looks great but I think the dice and token trays need something on top to keep everything in place. That's the only thing I'd change, but I still love the insert!

Great insert, fits Ambition too

I bought this insert just as Ambition was released. The original insert was not terrible but a bit of a component soup. I knew I'd have trouble parsing out the Red and Orange dice if they were all stored in the same bag so I picked up this insert. This is fantastic! You can quickly get everything out of the box and ready to go assuming everyone know how to play you can be good to go in under 5 minutes.

Great, but could be better

So far I have assembled 2 Broken Token inserts, Gloomhaven and this one. Ive also put together some other brands. My observation with this one is that it was rather difficult to assemble, even though it is relatively simple. It was a combination of long sides with no bottom makes it somewhat floppy while trying to get tight corners, and hitting it with a mallet during assembly came with little success to get all of the corners tight. Some tabs were so tight they delaminated the wood when inserting them. Sanding all of the adjoining pieces would have resolved this, but that is a pain. I actually think the Gloomhaven insert was easier to assemble, even though it is about 10x more complicated. I actually like the looser fit of other brands since it is recommended to use glue anyway. Looser fit is much easier to assemble. Now that it's finished, however, I do like it very much. All of the compartments are very clearly designated and hold all the bits. It will definitely speed up setup and break down.

Great Organizer

This organizer is very nice. I especially love the dice trays. I normally put these together, but my wife did this time, and she appreciated how easy it was.

A Very Well Designed Organizer

This is a particularly well-designed organizer that also fits the Ambition expansion. But rather than being required to intermingle the components from the expansions, the organizer has enough room to allow for Ambition components to be stored separately. I'm a big fan of Broken Token products, but I think this is my favorite organizer to date.

Almost perfect

Another fantastic insert aside from a minor annoyance with one of the trays I assembled. One of the trays that came in my kit sits crooked while the other sits flat on the table. Perhaps the wood came warped or something, but it's still fully functional and fits in the game box, so I'm not too bothered by it.<br><br><br><br>I may try to put something heavy on it to see if i can't get it to sit flat like its brother. I'm positive the issue is isolated to my kit, and not indicative of how others will be. I'm always happy to recommend these inserts and will be looking forward to putting together the next one. The insert has room for expansions it seems, which is nice! <br><br><br><br>Easy five stars if it hadn't been for my troublesome tray.
