  1. This organizer fixes the only thing wrong with this game

Posted by trondkla on 18th Jul 2016

I love Imperial Settlers, but before getting this, it was a nightmare boxing and unboxing. You can sleeve all the cards and all the 3 exp, and still have room for the Aztec exp coming!
Get kind of full if you have the MeepleSource addons, but hey, cool stuff takes space, and before this I barely fit the original game with sleeves!

  2. Divided and settled

Posted by Raymond Pratt on 27th Apr 2016

I had all my cards sleeved and in plastic card cases before I got this insert but I still didn't like how loose everything was. Now all the cards and other components are more secure. I particularly like how the trays are easily removed for game play.

  3. Very well done

Posted by Chad Horsley on 18th Apr 2016

I got this and it took me about a half an hour to put together. It was a perfect fit and some parts took a little bit of work to get them fully snapped in, but it looked great when it was all done. I highly recommend this as it makes it much easier to get started on the game.

  4. Perfect Product

Posted by Kevin on 20th Mar 2016

I bought this organizer for "Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn" and not Imperial Settlers. I was informed by Customer Service that this organizer would be compatible and that's all the reassurance I needed. lol

I've bought a few organizers from Broken Token in the past so I know their products are awesome; this review is mostly to let others know that this organizer works really well with the "Ashes" game.

The bases for the two trays do have some resource symbols on them but I simply assembled the trays so that the symbols appeared on the underside. No biggie.

There was a symbol on the face of one tray but it sorted looked like a die so I put the dice from "Ashes" in that tray. Looks fine.

Don't hesitate to get this organizer for either 'Ashes" or "Imperial Settlers" for that matter. It's well worth it.

  5. Imperial Settlers finally settled.

Posted by Ian on 13th Mar 2016

Hey all! Just wanted to write and say thanks for making such a great organizer. From the symbol engravings in the trays to the little wooden pieces that keep the trays from rubbing on the boards, you guys really thought of everything. Great job!

  6. This is fabulous

Posted by on 8th Feb 2016

Settlers plus the expansions comes with SO MANY tokens and cards that it became impossible to fit in the box in any organized way without a lot of little baggies.

I've been thinking about getting these organizers for a long time at cons, and yes they're a bit pricey, about half the cost of another board game so that's always been a deterrent. However, the game looks SO CLEAN now I'm very happy I pulled the trigger. Set up goes by a lot faster with the token holders, and it's nice to have the cards all organized and separated -- and with an insert that fits sleeves. I want an organizer for every game I have!

  7. Can't imagine not having this insert

Posted by Jimmy on 16th Dec 2015

This insert makes setting up the game a breeze. It's takes fewer than 30 seconds and has increased the amount the game gets to the table which is the most you can ask from an insert. I did have to glue the removable trays but that wasn't very time consuming.

The insert seems to have plenty of room for expansions assuming they don't add a lot more new chits down the line.

Now I just wish I'd ordered more card dividers!

  8. Great as always

Posted by Steven Clinard on 8th Dec 2015

Imperial Settlers has a fair number of different cardboard and wooden tokens and a decent number of different card decks. The standard-sized box is very roomy if you take the lame cardboard insert out, but keeping the pieces and cards sorted and separated calls for a basic insert.

The insert is pretty straightforward: two rows for cards with dividers, two removable trays for the tokens and a compartment below the trays for the player boards. Broken Token can knock out this kind of tray in their sleep, and the final result is just what I've come to expect.

The removable trays are perfect for set-up, play and clean up: just put the trays in the middle and play. The card dividers keep the different decks separate, again making set up and clean up easy.

There is lots of room left over for more cards from expansions. New tokens from expansions would probably need to share compartments in the trays.

The insert is easy to assemble. The pieces fit nicely, but it will help to use glue on a few of the joints, especially on the removable trays.

  9. Excellent kit

Posted by Baxter Johnson on 1st Dec 2015

I really enjoy playing Imperial Settlers, but I didn't like having to sort out each of the resources before we could start. This organizer does the trick. There are enough spots to sort all the cards to my heart's content. I'm very happy with this kit, thank you Broken Token.

  10. The only organizer you need for this game

Posted by Richard Boelk on 1st Nov 2015

I want to start by saying that I looked at several organizers for this game offered by several different companies and this one is the only one you need. Some of the others may be a little more fancy, but this one is great, easy to assemble and only took 10-15 min, extremely affordable compared to other companies. I will bypass the frill for function every time and The Broken Token has delivered. I will be buying several more in the near future.
