Looks great in the Box!
Failry easy to put together. Recommend watching the tutorial videos that Broken Token makes they were a huge help. This was a gift for my wife and she loved it! We had fun putting it together. Great quality and customer service! Love the ease of just lifting the trays out with all the resouce tokens organized. Cut down setup time for the game to almost nothing.
easy to build
by Jeremy Pilon Duhamel
very well packaged and easy to build. I used a Dremell tool to sand off the wood joint and it looks (and smells ) good in the box !
Makes putting the game away so much easier
This is quite a fiddly game, and trying to keep everything organized is always a pain until you get this organizer. Set up is faster, clean up is a snap, and then you're on to the next game!
Putting it together is very easy as well.
Just as good as I hoped
This does wonders for the setup and tear down time of this game. Everything fits with Atlantis expansion and there are some spare room left.
Plenty of room!
by Daniel Edwards
The trays and use of under tray space in the box is great. Plenty of room for expansions. Like way excess room actually.
This is fabulous
Settlers plus the expansions comes with SO MANY tokens and cards that it became impossible to fit in the box in any organized way without a lot of little baggies.
I've been thinking about getting these organizers for a long time at cons, and yes they're a bit pricey, about half the cost of another board game so that's always been a deterrent. However, the game looks SO CLEAN now I'm very happy I pulled the trigger. Set up goes by a lot faster with the token holders, and it's nice to have the cards all organized and separated -- and with an insert that fits sleeves. I want an organizer for every game I have!
I bought this organizer for "Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn" and not Imperial Settlers. I was informed by Customer Service that this organizer would be compatible and that's all the reassurance I needed. lol
I've bought a few organizers from Broken Token in the past so I know their products are awesome; this review is mostly to let others know that this organizer works really well with the "Ashes" game.
The bases for the two trays do have some resource symbols on them but I simply assembled the trays so that the symbols appeared on the underside. No biggie.
There was a symbol on the face of one tray but it sorted looked like a die so I put the dice from "Ashes" in that tray. Looks fine.
Don't hesitate to get this organizer for either 'Ashes" or "Imperial Settlers" for that matter. It's well worth it.
Divided and settled

I had all my cards sleeved and in plastic card cases before I got this insert but I still didn't like how loose everything was. Now all the cards and other components are more secure. I particularly like how the trays are easily removed for game play.
Great for Ashes game.
by Thomas Grogan
I got this for my Ashes game. Very sturdy and fairly easy to put together. Fit the Ashes box like a glove.
Enough room for the base set and all the expansion decks.
I just wish more dividers were available for this game as it comes up a few short.
RESPONSE: Excellent use of the kit :D We will look into the need for more dividers, might be something we can come up with! aprpeciate the feedback
Makes the game better!
What I love about Broken Token is that they typically make the games they have insert for better just by having the insert. This does exactly that. It reduces setup drastically (which I think makes the game better) and makes it easy to have all the components readily available during the game. Love it!
Just as advertised
Easy to assemble, looks and functions great. Love that it will fit sleeves if I ever get around to sleeving the cards.
Great for Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn
by Forest Hill
I purchased this organizer for use in Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn, and it is fantastic! It was easy and fun to put together, and I didn't end up needing any glue to feel that it was solid enough to hold itself together (I did use some tape though, where recommended). As a nice bonus, I get to enjoy that lovely wood smell whenever I open the box!
I have all of the cards from the base game stored in the box, sleeved with KMC Hyper Matte sleeves and I have over half of each lane left for storing expansions! The bit boxes in the middle lane are absolutely perfect for storing both the dice and the tokens used by this game.
The *only* issue I have with the box is that I would have liked it if the first player token had fit in the bit boxes, but it's a little too big. However, this is hardly a big deal because I have plenty of room in the card lanes to where I can give it its own slot.
I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to using more organizers from The Broken Token!

This is a fantastically designed insert. The token trays are well-sized and very accessible. There are plenty of dividers and room to support a large number of expansions, even when sleeved. A great use of space, and it looks fantastic.
This organizer fixes the only thing wrong with this game
I love Imperial Settlers, but before getting this, it was a nightmare boxing and unboxing. You can sleeve all the cards and all the 3 exp, and still have room for the Aztec exp coming!
Get kind of full if you have the MeepleSource addons, but hey, cool stuff takes space, and before this I barely fit the original game with sleeves!
Very well done
by Chad Horsley
I got this and it took me about a half an hour to put together. It was a perfect fit and some parts took a little bit of work to get them fully snapped in, but it looked great when it was all done. I highly recommend this as it makes it much easier to get started on the game.
Imperial Settlers finally settled.
Hey all! Just wanted to write and say thanks for making such a great organizer. From the symbol engravings in the trays to the little wooden pieces that keep the trays from rubbing on the boards, you guys really thought of everything. Great job!
Can't imagine not having this insert
This insert makes setting up the game a breeze. It's takes fewer than 30 seconds and has increased the amount the game gets to the table which is the most you can ask from an insert. I did have to glue the removable trays but that wasn't very time consuming.
The insert seems to have plenty of room for expansions assuming they don't add a lot more new chits down the line.
Now I just wish I'd ordered more card dividers!
by Baxter Johnson
I really enjoy playing Imperial Settlers, but I didn't like having to sort out each of the resources before we could start. This organizer does the trick. There are enough spots to sort all the cards to my heart's content. I'm very happy with this kit, thank you Broken Token.
Realy good but they forget the score board
Easy to assembly and really good for storage and quick setup. It's fits cards with FFG sleeves and have space for 2 more resources in future expansions.
However I would like that they have a place to score board, I needed to put it over the insert with the rulebook. The box still close normally.
And I think that the area to faction boards should be higher, I think that have space to 6 boards.
Response: The scoreboard was designed to go on top and there is enough room for faction boards for the next several years of expansions.
Great for both Imperial Settlers & Ashes
I bought this off a recommendation from fellow Ashes players and it is perfect for that game. In all, you can probably hold about 16 of the pre-made decks in the box with their conjurations in the same slot depending on how you arrange your cards. I also tried it out for Settlers and was so impressed with how it worked for Ashes I immediately bought another for the game it was actually intended for :). Now I have "future-proofed" both of those games for a good while!
Lots of extra space for expansions that might come
by Jeff G.
A full half of the organizer is empty! I assume since this is a licensed product, there are expansions planned to talk up the empty space.
Works for Ashes too!
by Teage W
As suggested by the lovely people at the booth, I picked this up at Gen Con for my copy of Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn. I have a few of the bit boxes, but this was my first full insert. I was not disappointed! It went together in about 10 - 15 minutes and fit perfectly. The token trays fit snug and I am extremely happy with this insert. I store my games on their side, but as long as the tokens are in the bottom tray, everything stays put perfectly. Will be buying more inserts for sure!
Great as always
by Steven Clinard
Imperial Settlers has a fair number of different cardboard and wooden tokens and a decent number of different card decks. The standard-sized box is very roomy if you take the lame cardboard insert out, but keeping the pieces and cards sorted and separated calls for a basic insert.
The insert is pretty straightforward: two rows for cards with dividers, two removable trays for the tokens and a compartment below the trays for the player boards. Broken Token can knock out this kind of tray in their sleep, and the final result is just what I've come to expect.
The removable trays are perfect for set-up, play and clean up: just put the trays in the middle and play. The card dividers keep the different decks separate, again making set up and clean up easy.
There is lots of room left over for more cards from expansions. New tokens from expansions would probably need to share compartments in the trays.
The insert is easy to assemble. The pieces fit nicely, but it will help to use glue on a few of the joints, especially on the removable trays.
The only organizer you need for this game
by Richard Boelk
I want to start by saying that I looked at several organizers for this game offered by several different companies and this one is the only one you need. Some of the others may be a little more fancy, but this one is great, easy to assemble and only took 10-15 min, extremely affordable compared to other companies. I will bypass the frill for function every time and The Broken Token has delivered. I will be buying several more in the near future.
Great, but needs glue
One of the trays I received didn't stay together when I first constructed it. This is kind of strange for BT stuff. Usually, it's a very tight fit and awesome, but one of the tray pieces was a little warped and that whole tray needed glue. At least now I know it'll be more likely to stay together.
