Horizontal Card Organizer for Wooden Artist Case

$28.99 $24.64

Product Description

This is a 4-row organizer for the Hobby Lobby All Media Artist's Supply Sketch Box (#125005) designed to hold cards horizontally. Also fits Hobby Lobby Black All Media Artist's Supply Sketch Box (#1301050) with a cardboard spacer.

By storing cards horizontally, this organizer provides approximately 1" of additional case storage space on top of the card organizer over our ORG010 Euro Card Organizer or ORG011 Standard-Size Card Organizer. This additional space can be used for books, manuals or game boards.

This kit comes ready-to-assemble with 21 adjustable dividers and is constructed from 1/8" Baltic Birch plywood.

NOTE: Wooden Artist Case and cards are sold separately.

If you'd like to purchase the artist case with organizer, see the list of related items below.

This product is a kit that requires assembly. We recommend the use of wood glue (sold separately)

Mixed feelings

Organizer went together easily and fits the case like a charm. Unfortunately did not fit sleeved euro cards as expected.

Perfict fit for Kingdom Death cards

At first i thought it would be loose but when i put it in the case it fit so snug. Great product will be buying inserts for other games

Best organizer for large card games

I've used many organizers for card games, including some of Broken Token's own (unsleeved card game, compact card game) but this is the best. I purchased the Hobby Lobby Artist's Case in a nice dark brown and dropped this organizer in with ease. It fit just about perfectly, and I added a bit of superglue for my own peace of mind, but it probably didn't need it. It is sturdy and has a ton of storage. I used a bits box from the Compact Card game organizer - two of them would sit upright in a row, or they also sit just fine in the top tray that comes with the Artist Case. Now, the top tray easily fits on top of the cards with this organizer (I don't believe it would with the vertical, but I haven't tested that). However, I used some extra dividers from the Compact Card game organizer which are slightly taller so the tray could rest on them. Without the slightly taller dividers, I believe the tray would rest on the cards themselves. Important caveat: I'm using KMC Hyper Mat sleeves, which may or may not influence the height of the cards. Unsleeved - this would not be a problem whatsoever. It might not even be a problem for narrower sleeves, since the height of the card sleeves above the frame is very minimal.

All in all, this is a great organizer. I'm using it for the Arkham Horror LCG and it is wonderfully thematic to pull out a big, dark, wooden (and wood-smelling) briefcase to play. I will definitely be purchasing another for other games (looking at you Netrunner).

Highly recommended.

Great organizer for large collections

The horizontal card organizer is a great generic product for large collections of cards. It holds the cards sleeved/unsleeved well and the assembled frame itself fits snugly into the recommended Hobby Lobby art case. I have plenty of room for expanding out my collection of cards (I'm using this for my massive Shadows of Brimstone card collection) and even have a couple non-card items stored in it as well.

ONE ADVISORY: be sure how many dividers you want when you order this product. The similar products button on this product link you to additional divider inserts that are custom specifically for this organizer. I needed more and tried to buy additional dividers that looked the same size from the LGS (they carry BT products), but were slightly too wide.

RESPONSE: OH no did you get the right dividers? Please email me contact@thebrokentoken.com so we can make sure you get what you need.

Space Saver

I use this for Marvel Legendary (which I have completely sleeved). It works perfectly for that game because it allows me to find everything faster and store every expansion I have for it. (at the time of this review I have Fantastic Four, Paint the Town Red, Guardians of the Galaxy, Dark City, and Secret Wars 1) There's still plenty of room for me to catch up on some of the other expansions out there and store it in one location.

Even though I use it with the big Artist Case, it saves tons of room that would've been taken up by all the original boxes.

Exactly as advertised

Very simple to put together and sits in the Artist Case perfectly. I am currently using the case to house SoTM and all the expansions and find that I do not need hardly any of the dividers, but they will come in handy when I purchase another set for Doomtown.

Good with one minor adjustment needed

I really like the design and the ease of assembling the inserts, but the only complaint I have is that I had to insert some 3x5 cards along the left edge. The dividers wouldn't stay in place without some form of pressure against the wall, so I put those in and they stayed fine. A bit frustrating, but other than that, I'm very pleased, and would order again.

Response: Sorry about the issue you experienced. We've found that the wooden artist cases can vary in size from the manufacturer. Most likely if you were to buy a second box, it would be slightly different from the first.

good but not great

This is a good insert, really the only issue is, the insert dose not fit snug in the box. There is a bunch of wiggle room. I would recommend glueing the insert together so it does not wiggle about inside the box. But otherwise this is a good insert.

Sentinel's of the multiverse.

This insert holds all of the current sentinel's of the multiverse with room to spare. It fit well with no glue for me.

great product

Went together very easy and is very great for holding card I use mine for legendary and holds all current cards from all expansions. It us the best product out and I can't see anything better coming out.
