Our Encounterd Organizer is compatible with Legendary Encounters by Upper Deck and will allow you to fit sleeved cards into the base game box.  The center compartment has plenty of room for the play mat and the kit includes 12 adjustable dividers to help organize your cards.

Based on your suggestions, the latest version of our Encounters organizer now includes two fixed dividers for stability and deep notches on the ends of the play mat compartment to allow more space for the play mat. Compatible with Legendary Encounters: Alien, Predator, Firefly & X-Files.

NOTE: This organizer is not compatible with Marvel Villains, or Legendary Buffy the Vampire Slayer box.

This product is a kit that requires assembly. We recommend the use of wood glue (sold separately)

Makes a perfect storage for Legendary Encounters - Aliens.

I sleeved the cards and then printed and laminated dividers and everything fits very nicely, easily accessible and organized in the box.

    Fully recommended!

Way better than the foam blocks

The card dividers are excellent. I would definitely recommend another set of dividers if you divide the cards up the way I do. My only gripe is that the mat doesn't set in as nice as I would like. The wood eats up just enough of the length of the box that the mat can't sit flat. I would recommend a bottom piece that the card rows press into, and shallow u-shape channels between them to keep the card rows to the outside and still have the mat fit in nicely.

Another great product, though with one minor downside

This is the third organizer I've bought from Broken Token; the other two being for the Pathfinder ACG. I love these organizers because it makes storage of the games much easier. Especially with Legendary, where the supplied foam inserts often moved during travel and resulted in cards going everywhere.

The only slight problem I have with this particular organizer is that the center space for the mat is a very tight fit. You have to be very methodical when rolling the mat to get it to fit into the space provided, and even if you do it perfectly you still have to force it into position.

Overall though I love the organizer, and I imagine I will continue to be a pleased supporter of Broken Token products in the future.

Great upgrade for the game box

Love this organizer. It makes storing the cards so much easier than the basic box.

The only problem I ran into is that, on one of the sides, the long pieces were spaced slightly too far apart so the spacers didn't attach well and were prone to falling out. I just glued one of the spacers into place in the middle in order to pull the long piece slightly closer to the side of the box, which fixed the problem.

    Playmat storage could be better

It's a decent organizer, better than using the included foam bricks, but the playmat barely fits. If they would have kept the two card sides separated somehow without surrounding the whole thing, there would be a few more millimeters to spare for the playmat.

    Almost perfect

The Legendary Encounters organizer pretty much mirrors the box, but does a good job of reinforcing the cardboard. The dividers work really well and allow for some good organization with room to spare for expansions. The unfortunate part is that the slot for the play mat barely accommodates it. The cheap cardboard insert works better. A small adjustment would make it fit just fine. Overall , a very good organizer.

    Great Organizer, a few suggestions

    Overall the organizer is great.

It is simple, functional and sturdy.

There is ample space for cards and sleeving won't be a problem.

Assembly was very easy, though maybe have some wood glue or super glue on hand just in case. Sometimes every thing fits plenty snug but for long term survival I like to put a very small dab of glue into any corner joints that seem a little loose. This just allows you to carry the box in any orientation you like without having to worry about anything coming apart.

Fitting the playmat in is a little tight. I'd have loved a little more space here but it was a fairly snug fit in the original box anyways.

What I recommend is to make sure the trailing edge of the mat is facing up when you put it into the space in the middle. This way you can gently tug it and the mat will start to unroll and come out. The wooden tray is obviously not as flexible as the paper box so you can't dig your fingers around the sides as easily. Also roll the mat printed side out as the rubber side will grip a bit on the walls.

Also there aren't enough dividers in the base set to divide everything. Extra dividers are available and if you really want everything divided by wood than go for that. However, I actually think that the best solution is to make good use of the dividers in the base set.

Dividing every character with a wood divider would leave many small sections that I think just don't work or look good. So instead I made a section for the crew of the Nostromo, one for the colonial marines, one for the prisoners, and one for the Alien Resurrection characters. Then within the wood divided section used the game provided dividers to separate individual characters. Applying this strategy across the game worked great, and I think opens up the possibility of this divider being useful for Legendary: Villians as well.

Much nicer than the piece of cardboard that was in the box.

As with all BT inserts, this is pretty awesome. Its very basic and I had it put together in about 2-3mins flat.
