The Broken Token, a leader in the board game organizers and accessories market, is hiring an Assembly Specialist at our Escondido (San Diego), California headquarters.

Job Title: Assembly Specialist

Location: Escondido, California

Start Date: Immediately Upon Hire

Salary: $10/hr

Our Assembly Specialists make sure our products meet the high quality standards our customers have come to expect from our company. The primary role of this job will be to sand, stain, lacquer, and assemble our custom-made game boxes.

We’re looking for someone who is eager to be a part of a fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, and show a willingness to learn new things. Experience working in a wood shop or commercial production department is a plus. Interest in tabletop gaming is an added bonus!

Job Description:

This position:

  • Is full-time (40 hours a week).
  • Is First Shift (morning through afternoon).
  • Requires lifting up to 50 lbs, and walking/standing for more than 4 hours a day.

Applicants should:

  • Have a strong attention to detail.
  • Have experience or familiarity with staining and finishing wood.
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Work well with a team.
  • Be able to work independently and, after training, follow through on duties with minimal direction.

Primary Duties:

  • Learning our products and assembly standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensuring that products meet our high quality standards
  • Maintaining and organizing workshop supplies and tools
  • Working with supervisor and other departments to keep operations running smoothly
  • Assisting in other departments as needed
  • Performing other duties as assigned
