Very nice, very classy organizer for the serious Firefly pilot.

This nicely finished product is well worth the added price and longer wait time. It holds the entire game, with all the expansions. Highly recommended!
It is a really shiny Big Crate

Just received mine this week. The finish was great and I am so glad i went for the limited edition assembled one. I do not think i could have had it come out so nice on my own. My only complaint is as mentioned before , outside the acrylic token box and the cash tray , none of the other slots are labeled and there was no image suggesting a basic setup. It would have been a nice touch to either have the slots named or some sort of clip / tag that could be attached to identify which cards are where, especially when vertical in the box it may be hard to identify which is which. <br><br>RESPONSE: That is excellent feedback. This was our first limited edition run in our craftsman series, we will definitely consider this input for other kits. If you ever have questions about set up feel free to message us. We are trying to have setup videos for everything and have the pictures be more helpful for placement!

I am absolutely delighted to have received and put to use the Mighty Fine Edition. I have been a customer of Broken Token for years and always found them thoughtful regarding their design and responsive to their customers. This was the big purchase for me and was worth every penny. Every little detail is just so ingeniously devised and so carefully put together. It's beautiful in form and elegant in function. The small touches -- how the boards fit snugly on top, how the mat rolls tightly and just above the ships, how the cards are so easily stored and stacked flexibly the way that works best for different tables -- really make this product shine(y). I suppose why I'm so excited is that it actually enhances the experience of playing and owning a game I already owned, making the game which was a prized possession into a treasure. I hope this is the first of many such editions in the future. Well done, Broken Token. Thanks for being so much better than you had to be; I can tell that this was a work of love by fans, for fans.<br><br>RESPONSE: It is truly a joy to hear this. We are indeed fans and players and this one in particular has been a labour of love! Our ultimate goal is to get games that we love to play to the table more often. Reviews like this keep us going and motivated to bring you the organizers and storage solutions that make this hobby even more fun! Thanks again for taking the time to share! -The Broken Token Family

This things is perfect! Perfect design and craftmanship! Plenty of room for expansions if you use the discard slots for current cards. Fantastic from top to bottom! I'll be passing this on in my will! <br><br>RESPONSE: Grinning from ear to ear!! We love hearing how the crates have found happy homes!!

I love this organizer. The fact that they made it for Firefly means someone at BT like this game as much as I do. I had alternate bases for my ships, and had to modify the ship holders, but it was easy. I now have an heirloom quality copy of Firefly.<br><br>RESPONSE: it's true there are quite a few fans of the game here : D Glad you enjoy it, we'd love to see your modifications: email@example.com
Great product, but on the pricey side.

First of all, I adore this product. My only complaints are nit-picky, but I think that's warrented considering the price paid for this fully assembled, limited edition game display/organizer. When the box arrived, one of the pieces holding together the firefly ship display box had come apart in transit. Under inspection, it was due to no glue being aplied on that piece (strange, since that's the recommendation in the instructions my other Broken Token products arrived with), it made me wonder was the rest of the box built using glue, or will there be more simple fixes in my future? Again, this was an easy fix, I just applied glue to the piece. My only other complaint is the lack of instructions. For the price, a simple pamphlet containing the instructions for how the Firefly contents were intended to be organized would be fantastic. As it is, I'm looking at the tiny product display pictures listed here on my phone in order to identify and assemble as intended. A minor inconvenience at worst, but still would have been a nice consideration for the price, especially considering shipping wasn't covered. I part with money rarely (I don't have much to part with) so I'm hyper-critical of products when I do. <br><br>I say again; this product is beautifully made. And it's definitely a bragging rights situation to have the limited edition version, the red velvet is a wonderful touch. The above are just nit-picking criticisms from a nit-picky gamer. Once I got the pieces fixed and the box organized, I absolutely adore it.<br><br>Response: Thank you so much for the feedback and we appreciate your business. Most likely the loose part was just missed in error, the rest of your case should be fine. If you do have any other issues, don't hesitate to contact us. We appreciate the suggestion for layout instructions and it is something we are definitely considering how to implement for all products.
A true work of art!

Ever since getting the game I have wanted something special to store all it's pieces properly and, like most, have complained about not having a big enough table to be able to comfortably lay everything out.<br>The crate is the perfect answer and a true work of art. It's clear that it has been well thought through and lovingly put together and finished. It feels like more than just a storage box, it IS part of the game!<br>I ordered on Christmas day and it made it's way to me in the UK with amazing speed (only being held up at customs by my lot :p ).<br>The fact that I can play with most of it still inside the box means I no longer have my sons pudgy little hands grasping at the cards claiming they're his and running away with my discard deck!<br>Oh and did I mention the smell? Fresh varnished wood has made my dining room smell amazing!<br>The only downside is that the space saved by fitting all the expansions and the vinyl 'verse map into one box has meant more room in my games cupboard so now I have to go and fill it up!<br>Thank you for the time and effort taken over this, definitely using Broken Token again.<br><br>RESPONSE: This totally made my day. And we do apologize for clearing up the extra space in your cupboard, it is a side effect that we forget to warn people about :D Aim To Misbehave and Game On My Friend - Aminda- CS Meeple!
Does everything well!

Completely satisfied owner here. I was a bit hesitant at the price tag, but now I have no regrets. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful, helped pick out the correct card protectors so that everything fit perfect. I did not have the problem of other reviewers below having to use the discard trays. Thickness adds up for 900 cards, so get the right ones! Of course it took a while to sleeve that many cards myself, so I'm glad I went with the MFE... it was well worth the time I saved on assembly/staining/lacquering (plus knowing me, I would have broken something). I was worried the full crate might be a bit heavy but the choice of wood is the perfect balance between durable and lightweight (just don't go dropping it onto stone floors). Does not have room for the Vera map, but the Whole Damn Verse map AND the orig boards fit, so do you really need a third separate complete map? The Big Money pouch will only fit if you opt to ditch the original game boards, otherwise, leave that one out also. Has enough room for original ship pieces and ONE of the aftermarket resin ship series (not both unless you ditch the original cheapy models). Bottom line, it fits everything you NEED to play the complete game, it's not an oversized junk box you can also stuff your fan-fiction into. The huge table space this game takes has really been the only thing keeping me from playing it, so this investment so I can actually make use of the game at all is definitely worthwhile. The 3 standing card slots for the active Wanted cards are an excellent touch. Too late for me, but I'm hoping future editions incorporate one more such standing slot for the Crime and Punishment expansion's active Alert card. With the Crime and Punishment expansion, there isn't room for a discard slot on the Aim to Misbehave cards, but it's no big deal, just put them on the bottom until you draw a "reshuffle" anyway. That and a "removed from game" separate discard slot are the only things "missing"... but really that's splitting hairs. The token trays have the token types etched onto the lids, and everything fits, though some you do have to stack more carefully than others. I'm actually glad they didn't put permanent labels on the deck slots, as people will want to organize them differently... geographically top to bottom, or left to right, or alphabetically, or contacts and shops both in one alphabetical list, etc. Find a system that makes the organizer play efficiently for you! Overall they did an excellent job making a top quality organizer for a really complicated and prolific gameset. Picked mine up wrapped with care so that it made it home without a scratch. They do make it available for pickup as soon as it's "ready", which is great customer service if you're in a hurry, but I'd recommend letting it set out a few extra days before filling it, unless you really enjoy the smell of glue and varnish!
